What Did We Do?
Since our establishment in 2016, our mission has been to make it easy for everyone to access healthy and affordable food while also promoting sustainable livelihoods for our local farmers. We believe that a better life starts with better food, and we are dedicated to making that a reality for our community.
We aspire to create a more sustainable life for our farmers by:
- Help farmers sell products that they cannot sell.
- Help farms cut labor and fertilizer costs by training them to make their own organic fertilizer and worm cast. In addition, we were able to help the farm cut labor costs through volunteers and internships programs.
- Provide seeds, training and help the farm build a stronger brand.
- Create a new source of income and nourishment with our short-term vegetable and fruit crops or fish farming assistance.
Through our program, we help farmers sell what they can't sell so we can offer you nutrient-rich fruits and vegetables at very affordable prices.
In late 2020, we had pivoted from offering monthly organic food subscriptions to focusing on manufacturing healthy snacks starting with Handcrafted Rice Puff. Fast forward to today, we take pride in offering you the experience of Vietnam’s culture through authentic snacks.

Tran Mac Van Anh
Prior to founding MEDIFOOD.IO, Nancy had served as market analyst at VNDIRECT Securities and project manager at VEAS Exhibition & Advertising Services with focus on developing markets such as Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam in the agriculture sector. Nancy is a dedicated, driven entrepreneur and marketing expert who is passionate about sustainable agriculture and helping local farmers earn a better living.
A serial entrepreneur and technology executive with 23+ years of experience in various fields including software, renewable energy and agriculture. He had led multiple software start-up companies (TranSoft Technology, FileString Inc., Snapbuck Inc.) prior to joining MEDIFOOD.IO.
He also served as Business Development Director at Bitrade Inc and Business Development Consultant for WattKraft GmBh, TTVN Group and Nguyen Kim Group to help them transit into a sustainable, renewable energy future.
Daisy is a seasoned, creative entrepreneur with a hard work ethic to spearhead many of her beauty studios operations across multiple states including Virginia, Louisiana and Florida. Prior to dwelling into the entrepreneurship world, she started her professional nursing career in 2008 and has since leveraged her healthcare background along with creativity, business systems knowledge, and successful investment strategies to develop her own business in the beauty industry. Keeping her client's health and well-being at the center of her business model, she has successfully run and operated multiple beauty studios across multiple states, promoting self-care and self-preservation.
Daisy was intrigued by the MEDIFOOD.IO mission and decided to come on board as a healthy lifestyle advisor in early January 2022. She was very instrumental to help MEDIFOOD.IO become a strong brand within the health and wellness community.She officially joined MEDIFOOD.IO in May 2022 as Business Development Director of North America with a continued passion to promote healthy living and develop new opportunities for the US and Canada snack market. She hopes to assist MEDIFOOD.IO, a female-led startup, to fulfill their mission to make it easy for everyone to buy tasty, affordable and nutritious snacks and help create a more sustainable life for local farmers.
Daisy holds a Bachelor Degree of Science, with a major in nursing, from the coveted Decker School of Nursing in Binghamton, New York. She was named Businesswoman of the Week in October 2020 by the Bedford Bulletin in Bedford, Virginia.
Jessica T. Nguyen
Jessica has always been passionate about the food service industry and has dedicated herself to work up the ladder to become store manager with a popular Japanese restaurant chain. As Store Manager, she strives to uphold high standards of customer service, communicate clearly and positively with coworkers and management, manage inventory and stock ordering and develop new training programs for future hires, while assisting in the expansion of the restaurant chain. Jessica joined Creole Cuisine in 2021 as Assistant Operations Manager where she oversaw 17 restaurants within Greater New Orleans. As Assistant Operations Manager, she updated their outdated operation practice and training program which helped save and increased the franchise overall bottom-line by $350,000 per year. Her competency had propelled her into one of the top managers of one of New Orleans top restaurant franchises.
Jessica officially joined MEDIFOOD.IO in August 2022 as Operations Manager where she will oversee operational activities at every level of the company to build and maintain profitable relationships with key customers and partners. Her responsibilities also extended to hiring and training employees and most importantly, ensuring the quality of the company's products and services continue to exceed customer expectations.
